NMMW Summer Gathering 2014

 New Mexico Men’s Wellness

Summer Gathering 2014

August 8 – 10, 2014

Thank you to all of you good men who contacted me with your ideas for the summer gathering. This will be a planned event, but most everyone agreed we just need to get together in a safe, supportive environment to speak our truth.

Based on the feedback we will have several big talking circles and an opportunity for everyone to be heard in the small groups. We will enjoy hikes, games, free time and a great potluck meal Saturday night together in the beautiful outdoors of New Mexico high country.

I am very much interested in how you’d like to experience the summer gathering in real time. Please contact me by email or phone. Your thoughts and ideas are appreciated.

Mark your calendars and create a space for yourself at the summer gathering!

This year we have the option of paying for the summer gathering through PayPal.  Please see the registration information further down on this page for details: PayPal is easy, quick, and safe.

We have reserved Jack’s Creek Group Campground, and are keeping our options open in case the campground closes due to weather or fire restrictions.

In the dreamtime we exit the consensus reality and enter the time/space where anything is possible. Let’s share those experiences together.

The cost of the summer gathering will remain at just $35 for the entire weekend experience.

Here’s a photo from my first Summer Gathering in 2000. Look at all those guys! I am hoping to recreate some of the magic of that gathering led by Gary McFarland.

Please contact Joseph Woods with any questions or suggestions.

For the first time with this Summer Gathering, NMMW can accept online payments and registrations.  Those who prefer the traditional method (i.e., keep the post office solvent by mailing in your form and registration fee by check) can do that also.

Regardless of how you send your registration in, you will need to complete a registration form.  Click here to get a copy of the form. To do it the postal mail way, print out the form, fill it out, write a check for the amount you’re sending in, put a stamp on it and send it to Joseph Woods at the address on the form.  Do this safely ahead of the August 1 deadline to be assured of a space at the Gathering.

To do everything on your computer it is a two step process.

First, download and save a copy of the 2014 Summer Registration Form (usually done by right-clicking on the link and selecting “Save as . . “), open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader (if you need to install a free copy use the link at the bottom of the page), fill it out (be sure to check the “Paying by Paypal” box) and save the completed copy.  Then send an Email to Joseph Woods (woodenboat@dock.net) with your completed form attached.

Next, click on the Add-to-Cart Button below to add the $35 registration fee to the PayPal check out. After you go to the “Cart” you can choose to use PayPal or a credit card if not a PayPal member.  If you choose not to make a donation, you may go directly to check out after clicking on “Add to Cart”:

To make an optional scholarship donation choose a dollar amount to donate ($10, $15, $20, $35) from the choices in the pulldown menu.  To donate a different amount, please do that from our regular donation page after your registration is complete.

If you have any problem making this work, please contact Jim Connolly (jrc347@gmail.com).  We are new to PayPal Payments and just learning how best to make this stuff work, so please do not hesitate to contact me.

To download some information about the basic “logistics” of the gathering (location, what to bring, etc.) please click on NMMW Jacks Creek Logistics.  More information will be sent to those are registered just before the gathering via Email.
