Help Plan the 2017 NMMW Fall Conference!

The Dragon

The 33rd annual New Mexico Men’s Wellness Fall Conference will be at Ghost Ranch on October 19-22, 2017. Even as you read this, you are becoming, just as the life around you is constantly changing and becoming. One day we will all be ancient voices to those who continue after us.

Registration is now open — to register please go to the main Conference at  As of this writing (August, 2017) we are still working on planning the conference and if you are interested in participating in this process (we really like input) please read on.

Leadership and Planning for the Fall Conference

This year’s leader is Wayne Mathias, and co-leader is Michael Sheppard.  The planning and leadership of the Fall Conference is facilitated by men who are part of the NMMW community rather than bringing in “experts” from outside.  This has been a key to sustaining this unique and supportive culture of men for 33 years.  As a participant, you are invited to participate in the planning and leadership of this conference, and your ideas and involvement are welcomed.

Here is the schedule for the planning meetings:

  • August 1 (Tues) in Albuquerque at Wayne’s house
  • August 28 (Mon) in Santa Fe (Seton Castle next door to Michael’s house in Seton Village)
  • September 18 (Mon) in Albuquerque at Wayne’s house
  • October 2 (Mon) in Santa Fe at Seton Castle

All meetings will be held at 6:00 pm.

The meetings in Albuquerque and Santa Fe will include dinner.

Wayne’s house in Albuquerque is located at 605 Bledsoe Rd. NW, on Bledsoe Rd just west of Dan’s Boots and Saddles, which is located on 4th St about 6 blocks north of Osuna.

Directions to Seton Castle will be posted soon.

Please RSVP to Wayne if you can make it so we can plan how much food to provide and to facilitate carpooling.  505-514-6734 cell.
