Play and Improv- An Evening of Fun

Why be so serious?! Join us to indulge your playful, childlike self. We will immerse ourselves in laughter, spontaneity, and creativity. Leave the critic and competitor at home. We’ll mess up, and that’s part of the fun!
Mark Ayers is our future Fall Conference Leader; he’s on a lifelong mission to find joy and delight.

Reconciliation and Forgiveness

Here is a chance, in a safe environment to better understand the feelings that we carry over painful experiences that have happened to us or by us. How do these weigh on us, how do they impact our relationships and what can we do to better understand, forgive where useful and move forward in our lives.

Robert Younger is a long time member of NMMW. He enjoys conducting workshops on many areas of interest for men using his skills with Psychodrama and Playback Theater.

Giving and Receiving Support

Many men have difficulty reaching out when times are challenging. Our cave is familiar and beckons us to suffer in silence. Support sometimes feels like someone “getting on our back,” rather than true assistance or encouragement. Through interactive exercises we will experience the positive cycle of asking for, receiving and giving support in a way that feels nourishing.

Vittorio La Cerva, founder of NMMW, has been committed to helping men understand the many joys and challenges of being a man in relationship to himself and to others.
