Resilience

Uwe Schroeter and Lawrence Cook

“If your heart is broken, make art with the pieces.”
 ― Shane L. Koyczan

“I think there are things that we can all do to bild resilience in ourselves,
but also to build resilience in each other.”
― Sheryl Sandburg

Will there be snow in the Basin for our Gathering?  How am I going to get everything done with all of these distractions?  Could there be another war?  Keeping the faith is what we need to do in these times and resilience is what we urgently need for it.  At this year’s NMMW Winter Gathering, our evening talking circles will focus on resilience.  Please be prepared to share your personal experiences on the balance of physical, mental and emotional flexibility and hardiness.

Please join us for the 29th NMMW Winter Gathering.  We will be active during the day, starting with morning meditation and/or Qigong.  We will have outings into the surrounding wilderness on snow shoes and skis.  We will play games, listen to and make music, and prepare and share communal meals.  Registration is now open.  For more information please contact:
